Electric outboard batteries — powering your EClass experience
Electric outboard batteries are central to your boating experience, determining range, power availability and ease of use. At EClass Outboards, we offer custom-built lithium-ion marine batteries designed specifically for our electric propulsion systems, with a focus on safety, portability, durability and real-world performance.
Purpose-built marine battery solutions
Our batteries are engineered for marine conditions and matched to your specific outboard model and boating needs. Available capacities include smaller packs for lightweight use through to larger kWh options for extended outings or bigger vessels.

Each battery features:
- Minimal self-discharge during storage so your battery stays ready when you are
- Lithium-ion chemistry for high energy density and long life
- Fully enclosed metal casing with lifting handles for safety and portability
- LCD display and usage meter for easy trip planning
- Bluetooth enabled — monitor speed, amp draw and battery run time in real time via your iPhone or Android device
- Compatibility with future battery upgrades
- Typical charging from standard 240V mains in about two hours
- Ultra-low DC voltage operation as defined by Australian and New Zealand wiring standards
- Fully recyclable at end of life
Battery range
Battery range
Our batteries start from $3,700 plus GST for our 96V range, scaling through to larger capacity options to suit bigger vessels and extended outings. All batteries feature sophisticated BMS (battery management systems) designed for real-world marine performance.

Designed for performance & ease
Battery capacity directly influences your available run time — generally, the more kWh you choose, the longer you can enjoy mixed-speed boating without needing to recharge. EClass batteries integrate seamlessly with our outboards, using a 96V DC system that improves efficiency, increases power delivery and extends run times on the water. Operating at ultra-low DC voltage as defined by Australian and New Zealand wiring standards, EClass systems are designed with safety as a core priority.
All batteries include a user-friendly display for real-time charge and range monitoring, helping you plan your trips with confidence.

Reliable, long-life power
Our marine battery systems are tested for reliability and longevity, with warranties that reflect their robust design. While electric outboards represent an upfront investment, charging costs are typically lower than petrol fuel, and the batteries retain charge well in storage between outings.
Battery options & customisation
We offer a range of battery sizes — from smaller packs for lightweight use through to larger 20kWh and 30kWh options — to suit different vessels and usage profiles. Whether you’re after extended range, heavier loads or hybrid setups, we can recommend the ideal combination for your boat.
EClass outboards are also battery agnostic. While we design and recommend our own lithium-ion batteries for optimal performance, our motors are compatible with other battery chemistries and third-party batteries as new technologies come online. If you’d like to use a non-EClass battery, contact us for specifications — we’re happy to help ensure compatibility while preserving your motor warranty.
